Margaret “Jane” Meadows, 76, passed away peacefully Friday January 1st, 2021 with her children at her bedside at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.
Jane was born July 25th, 1944, in Pomona, IL, twin daughter of Leslie and Evelyn (Latchaw-Wright) Gearhart.
Jane is survived by her five beloved children, Brian Ray and wife Sandra Meadows of Mounds, Connie Sue George of Karnak, Michael Lee and wife Brandy Meadows of Metropolis, Melissa Ann Casper of Dongola, Crystal Gayle and husband Wes Johnson of Dongola, eleven grandchildren that she loved to spoil; nine great-grandchildren; siblings twin sister Jeanne “Nean” Meade of Gorham, Joyce Stearns and Nancy Conder of Murphysboro, Sherry Gearhart of Phoenix, AZ, and Mark Gearhart of Ava.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 55 years Forrest Ray Meadows; one grandson Zachary Treece; her parents; siblings Lindell Wright, Austin Wright, Donnie Wright, Jack Gearhart, Robert Wayne Gearhart, Judy Meade and Millie McGrath.
A graveside service will be held Friday January 8, 2021 at 12 Noon at Alto Pass Cemetery, Alto Pass with Brother Wes Johnson
