CARBONDALE — Jaxson Victor Batteau, baby boy of Sara Batteau, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, in St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
He was born Sept. 20, 2014.
Our tiny angel left his mommy, Sara Batteau of Carbondale; sisters, Sadie and Hannah Batteau; grandmother, Jane Randolph of Carbondale; grandfather, Ray Batteau of Elkville; great-grandmother, Judy Batteau; one uncle, Jeffrey Randolph; and cousin, Alexander Randolph.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Professor Victor Randolph, Doris Randolph and Jack Batteau.
In the words of his family, “Although we only held him in our arms a short time, Jaxson was a blessing from God and will be eternally loved and missed by everyone especially by his mommy.”
In his mother’s words, “Mama loves you so much Jaxson.”
Private family services will be at a later date.
Walker Funeral Home of Carbondale is in charge of arrangements.
