Paula Phemister, 69, passed away Friday September 6, 2019 peacefully at Manor Court of Carbondale.
Paula was born July 10, 1950, in Herrin, Illinois the daughter of the late Frank Williams and Dora Lee (Fann) Fanning.
She married Morris Phemister January 18, 1995. They shared over 24 years of marriage
Paula loved helping people and found a career in working for Hospice. She took a lot of pride in helping families in their time of need.
She is survived by her husband Morris Phemister of Carbondale, and all of her friends from Hospice: Her “Club Sisters” Ann Levin, Kay Tyson and Nona Kay Davis. Paula’s “Forever Valentine” Jane Crew from Florida, Paula Tyner from Carterville, Joe and Ana Whitecotton, Paulette Dupuis and family. Wonderful Neighbors: Chuck Haberman, Mark, Rachel and Marlee Robinson, Quinton Harris, James Jackson, Amanda Tennyson, Ray Larry, Judy Townsend, Jerry and Charlotte Potts, and many more!!!!
