Arthur Wells ~ Energy November 5, 1969 - November 2, 2024

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Arthur Wells at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday November 2, 2024.

Arthur was born November 5, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Arthur Melvin Wells and Melanie Josephine Kramarczyk.

Known for his incredible work ethic, Arty was someone who put his heart into everything he did. He took pride in his work, and those who knew him saw his commitment to excellence and the care he gave to each task, no matter how big or small. His colleagues, friends, and family admired his drive, resilience, and the humble way he carried himself. He worked for the City of Carterville water and sewer department in his early years. He also worked and specialized in Carpentry, truly a jack of all trades.

Outside of work, he found his joy in time spent with loved ones. He also enjoyed nature, spending countless hours outdoors and on the water finding peace in its beauty and creating treasured memories with those he loved. Whether hiking, fishing, or simply enjoying a day under the open sky, Arty was at his happiest when he was busy doing something to benefit the people he cared about. He was always wholesome with family and friends by his side.

He is survived by his mother; Melanie “Cookie” Wells of Herrin; children; Dustin and Becca Switzer of Herrin; Shaye Switzer-Story and Dan Story of Ava; Bethany Wells of Herrin; siblings; Raymond Wells of Herrin; Kenneth Wells of Herrin and sister Helen Taylor Wells of Texas; and his beloved grandkids; Darius James; Domanick James; Vinny Switzer; Paisly Story; Barrett Story and Kyler Mezio and many dear friends.

Artie was preceded in death by his father, Arther Wells and many aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.

With havin so much content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement? My website has a lot of unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my authorization. Do you know any techniques to help stop content from being ripped off? I’d really appreciate it.
