Adam Lee Hahn ~ Royalton – Walker Funeral Homes and Crematory

Adam Lee Hahn, 46, of Royalton, passed away on September 2, 2025, at SSM Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on April 16, 1979, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to Dennis and Betty (Ward) Hahn.

Adam dedicated over 20 years of his career to Terrance Fencing. Outside of work, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and riding his motorcycle—especially when he could share the road with his sons. He was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his new grandson in the coming months. Above all, Adam was a great father and devoted to his family and many friends.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly (Guida) Hahn; his children, Justin Hahn, Brandon (Kaylee) Hahn, and Nicholas Hahn; his mother, Betty (Jeff) Hahn; his siblings, Dennis (Scottie) Hahn Jr. and Mary Ann (Jimmie) Hahn Halleran; as well as his loyal companion, his dog Scooter. He also leaves behind many loving aunts, extended family, and friends who will deeply miss him.

Adam was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Hahn; his grandparents, Everett and Mary Sue Stacy; and Charles and Leona Hahn.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Walker Funeral Home and Crematory of Southern Illinois.

Adam was always one step ahead, whether we were running, on bikes, or just the first there when I needed help. He was like the older brother I never had, and in many ways, the father figure I needed. Sometimes we competed like brothers, but he was always the first to show up when it mattered.

I only wish he hadn’t been so fast this time. I’ll be chasing his memory for the rest of my life.

I’m so sorry for your loss! I know how close you and Adam were, that bond will never be broken. Your brother knew you had his back, and that you were always there for him. He always knew that you were with, even up to the end, don’t ever forget that. My heart breaks for you! You were there for me when I lost my daughter Julie, you knew how hard it was for me, but I knew you were just a phone call away. So please remember I’m here for you. Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how close you and Adam always were. Adam was a great guy. I knew him since he was 12. He always made me laugh and was the life of the party. I am thankful for the fun we had and times we shared. He was so special and unfortunately had a bad hand dealt to him. You will see him again in heaven whole. Mary, I’m so sorry. I wish there was a way to heal your heart. Remember all the good times. Talk about Adam, tell the funny stories. The hurt won’t go away but it’ll become bearable. I heard a pastor say a person dies twice, the first time when their heart stops beating, the second time when we stop talking about them. I know you’ll never let that happen. Love you!
