Bobby Dean McGhee, 38 years young of Desoto, IL went home to be with our Lord and Savior on September 26th, 2022 at Carbondale Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, IL at 5:39 PM. He was born on December 17th, 1983 in Murphysboro, IL.
Bobby was a DJ and had a passion for Music in his teens and early twenty’s he had a voice that could turn heads in every room he sang in. Not only could he sing he could name the song you where singing in a heartbeat every time even after just a couple of words, Oh he also loved him some poker. He had a pure soul and was a compassionate, giving person, and loyal friend – all you had to do was call Bobby and he was there.
He is survived by one brother Charles (Becky) McGhee, one sister Diana (Carmen) Cornelio, eight nieces and nephews Gracie, Garrett, Izayah, Colton, Brylee, Brieanna, Aaliyah, and Joshua, A special friend William (Billy) Chancey, Fiancé Tiffany Williams and son Henry, former wife of 15 years but life long friend Amber McGhee, as well as many many friends and loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his Father and Mother Larry and Vicky McGhee, his sister Melissa McGhee, and Father-in-law and Mother-in-law Bruce and Donna Reeder.
A Celebration of life will be held October 22nd, 2022 at JB’s Showplace to Celebrate the Life of our Bobby Dean McGhee. Our lives will never be the same without him.
Instead of flowers due to the Celebration of life being at a later date the family is asking that if you would like to make a donation to help with expenses please send them to Walker Funeral Home in Carbondale, IL.
