It is with much sadness that we mourn the loss of Donna Jean Robinson, 62, who went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 26, 2024.
Donna was born September 30, 1961 in Herrin, Illinois the daughter of late Loran Gordon and Nina Lee (Hicks) Robison.
She married Greg Robinson on December 12, 1981. They shared over 42 years of marriage.
Donna along with her husband Greg worked at Maytag for over 20 years and loved their Maytag family.
She was the most loving and caring person anyone could know. She lived every day with unconditional love for her husband and her adored children, grandchildren who called her Grandma Kitty and her precious cats -Bitsy, Bella, and Baby. She loved working in her flower garden and going to play HCAP Bingo.
Donna is survived by her husband; Greg Robinson; children; Heather Marie Robinson and Andrew James and wife Casey Robinson; sisters; Teresa and husband Sam DeMarie and Tina and husband Steve Sloan; brother; David Robison; sister-in-law; Betty Robison; grandchildren; Isaiah; Amiyah; Vanna; Connor; Wade and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Gordon and Nina Robison; brothers; Wayne Robison and Tom Robison.
Visitation will be held Wednesday January 31, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at Walker Funeral Home in Hurst, Illinois. Services will follow at 12 noon with Pastor Greg Parker officiating. Interment will be at Blairsville Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Robinson family. Donation envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
