John E. Terpinitz ~ Carbondale October 22, 1940 - September 6, 2022

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of John E. Terpinitz of Carbondale, on Tuesday September 6, 2022, at the age of 81.

John was born October 22, 1940 in Carbondale, Illinois the son of the late Bert E. and Margaret (Rushing) Terpinitz.

John worked at Southern Illinois University Housing for over 28 years till he retired. He was also a member of Murdale Baptist Church where he enjoyed being a referee for the Youth Upward Basketball Program. He was known for being an avid armchair coach/referee for any football, basketball, and baseball game.

He married Donna Wise on March 12, 1966 in Springfield, Illinois. They have shared over 56 years of marriage.

John is survived by his wife Donna Terpinitz of Carbondale; daughter Mary E. Terpinitz of Carbondale and granddaughter Lauren E. Terpinitz of Jacksonville, Florida.

He is preceded in death by his parents Bert and Margaret Terpinitz.

A private burial will be held at a later date.

Walker Funeral Home of Carbondale entrusted with arrangements.

    Throughout the great pattern of things you receive a B+ just for effort. Where you actually lost me was in all the particulars. You know, people say, the devil is in the details… And that couldn’t be much more correct at this point. Having said that, allow me say to you just what did deliver the results. The article (parts of it) is actually very convincing which is possibly the reason why I am making the effort in order to comment. I do not make it a regular habit of doing that. 2nd, although I can certainly see the jumps in reason you make, I am definitely not sure of just how you appear to connect the details which in turn help to make the actual final result. For the moment I will yield to your position however wish in the near future you connect the dots much better.
