It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judy McCay, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and the life of every party. She left us far too soon, on January 23, 2025, leaving a void in our hearts that can never be filled.
Born on February 4, 1960, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Judy brought light and joy wherever she went. She had a booming laugh that could fill a room, a smile that could brighten the darkest day, and a personality larger than life itself. She was unapologetically fun and wonderfully loud, the one who could make any gathering unforgettable.
Above all, Judy was fiercely devoted to her family. She was a loving mother who raised her children with an open heart and endless support, a doting grandmother who spoiled her grandchildren with love, and a proud great-grandmother who cherished every moment spent with the next generation.
Judy’s legacy is one of laughter, love, and the countless memories she leaves behind. Whether it was dancing in the kitchen, sharing stories around the table, or just being her vibrant self, she made every moment special.
She is survived by her children; Kesha McCay; DeAnna and Jason Goff; Crystal and Vince Rowatt; and Michael and Lindsey McCay Jr. and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of friends who were like family to her.
Judy was preceded in death by her daughter; Jamie McCay – Holderfield; sister; Paula Dickens and brothers; Jimmy and Jack Dickens.
While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Judy, you will forever be missed, but your love, laughter, and spirit will live on in all of us.

September 20, 2025 at 10:23 amI do enjoy the way you have presented this particular problem plus it does indeed provide us a lot of fodder for consideration. However, through everything that I have witnessed, I just simply wish as the feed-back stack on that folks continue to be on point and don’t embark on a tirade involving some other news of the day. All the same, thank you for this superb point and though I can not agree with the idea in totality, I respect the point of view.
