Conner Michael Andrew Shaw, age 11, of DeSoto, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025.
Born in Carbondale, Illinois, on March 14, 2014, to Blake T. and Cori B. (Shaw) Moon, Conner brought boundless joy to everyone he met. He had a radiant smile that could light up any room and a compassionate heart, he was always ready to lend a hand. Curious and creative, he possessed an insatiable thirst for knowledge and delighted in sharing his imaginative designs. Conner was never shy about expressing his feelings, wore his heart on his sleeve with honesty and warmth.
Though his passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who loved him, we find comfort in celebrating the profound impact he had in his short time here. Conner made the world brighter for everyone around him, and we are forever grateful for the love, laughter, and light he shared.
He is survived by his loving parents, Blake T. and Cori B. Moon; his sister, Sadie E. Fernandez; grandparents, Ken and Karen Shaw, and James and Michele Moon; uncles, Nick Shaw and Todd Shaw; aunts, Hilary Neumann, Stephanie Crabtree, and Cassandra Moon; as well as many cherished cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on what would have been Conner’s 12th birthday, March 14, 2026.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Carbondale.
