Daniel E. Henderson, 67, passed away at his residence on April 19, 2022 with his loving family by his side.

Danny was born November 30, 1954 in Carbondale, Illinois to the late Dwight and Dorothy (Berkel) Henderson.

He worked for Operating Engineer Local 318 for over 40 years till he retired in 2011. Danny loved riding his Harley all over the Country with his family and friends but, his greatest love was his family, especially his grandchildren.

Danny is survived by his children: Amelia (Daniel McRoberts) Henderson and Douglas Henderson; grandchildren; Phoenix L. Henderson; Noah L. Henderson; Oren G. Humphreys; two sisters, brother, and nieces and nephews and lots of friends from East Coast to West Coast.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dwight and Dorothy Henderson.

A Celebration of Life will be held May 21, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at The Murphysboro Elks Lodge #572 1809 Shoemaker Drive, Murphysboro, Illinois.

Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Southern Illinois entrusted with arrangements.
