Condolences

Carolyn Johanna Goff, 63, passed away April 2, 2022 in Carbondale.

Carolyn was the daughter of John Paul Goff, MD and Cornelia Van Balen Goff of Carbondale.

She was a unique person who made an impression on all who met her. Carolyn was raised in Carbondale and later moved to Kaufman, Texas where she spent many happy years and made many friends. She moved back to Southern Illinois in 2000 to be close to her mom.

Carolyn is survived by: her Son Jay and Daughter-in-law Kiera Ford, Phoenix, AZ, Grandson Jayden Ford and Granddaughter Piper Ford, Nephews Eric Goff and Alex Schmidgall, Carbondale, Sister-in-law Paula Smith Goff Feigenbaum, and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother John Matthew Goff.

There will be no funeral services per Carolyn’s wishes. Thank you to Walker Funeral Home in Carbondale for their expertise, care and support.
