It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Keyawna Marie McClanahan (KeyKey), 32, of Carbondale, IL, who passed away on Dec. 12, 2023.
She was born Dec. 9, 1991 in Springfield, IL the daughter to Timothy McClanahan and Monica Allen.
Keyawna is survived by her parents, sister, Kayla McClanahan, grandmother, Linda Allen, Aunts, Missy (Danny) Allen Wright, Carol Allen, Melinda (Jim) MacMillan, uncle, John Bost, many more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Webster Allen Sr, paternal grandparents, Susan Bost and Terry McClanahan, aunt, Kim McClanahan, uncle, Webster Allen Jr.
It’s hard to find just a few words to describe how amazing Keyawna was and how much she loved her family and friends. Everyone that knew Keyawna knew that she had a smile that could light up any room and a loving energy that could not be matched. We will remember her sitting in front of her brightly lit vanity getting glammed up for photoshoots, long drives in the car blaring her favorite music and her deep love for coffee. The heavens gained a beautiful angel and she will forever be in all of our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, which we will announce via social media once all arrangements have been made.
