Robert D. Goodman, 61, passed away on August 18, 2023 at his residence in West Frankfort, Illinois.
He was born December 2, 1961 in Joliet, Illinois the son of the late Dale L. and Sarah Ann (Basham) Goodman.
Robert served in the Navy from 1980-1984. He loved hanging out with friends, but his favorite past time was playing pool.
He is survived by his sisters; Myra Toppel of Elgin, Illinois, Karen Bilyeu of Carbondale and Judy Goodman of Grand Junction, Colorado.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Dale and Sarah Goodman.
Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Southern Illinois entrusted with arrangements.

A part of my song is waiting, and will not play again until we sing it together and he tells me who wrote it. My most competitive friend, who beat me again.
